SoundShield was born from the installation bay, not the boardroom.
As professional 12-volt installers, we spent years building high-performance audio systems and searching for better ways to control the vibration, resonance, rattles, and unwanted noise that can compromise even the finest equipment. We tested what was available, worked with material specialists and engineers, and pushed beyond conventional sound treatment to develop products specifically for the demands of serious automotive installations.

JOHN SCHWARTZ
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
John is an icon of the automotive after-market scene throughout North America and his commitment to being the best drives both his award-winning shop in Anchorage, Alaska, as well as his evolved ventures into developing the world’s best sound deadening solution for installers everywhere.
John brings 28 years experience and as Chief Executive Officer, he oversees all aspects of the company including manufacturing, quality control, team management, customer experience, business development and more.
DONTÉ POYNTER
CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER
Donté has been responsible for the design and branding efforts of automotive related clientele in Alaska and throughout North America for over 20 years. Most notably Perfectionist Auto Sound, located in Anchorage, where he operates his award-winning creative agency D’zine Alaska.
He also designed and developed the entire brand concept and design ecosystem for SoundShield and continues to oversee all aspects of the creative efforts, packaging, and visual communications for
the company.
